Introducing Fresh Veg

Hiya,

Any ideas on how to introduce fresh veg to your cham?

When I got him, Colin's diet consisted of crickets, crickets and er....crickets.

I'd like to see if I can get him to eat some fresh leaves and stuff, but I don't think the little guy has ever seen a real leaf in his life. I have tried fashioning a hanging clip and put some kale leaves in it for him, but he just....looked at it....

Is there any other way of introducing fresh veg to him? He doesn't hand feed that well but it's something I'm working on. I dunno why but the thought of him eating fresh veg really appeals to me....maybe it's because im vegetarian!

If you put some in a dish in his cage so the crickets can eat them he might ingest bits when trying to eat the crickets...or you can try to hand feed him a thin wedge of apple. Touch it to his lips and if he gapes, put it between his teeth.
