Not sure what happened, but my 10 month vieled chameleon stopped eating about 2-3 days ago (not unsure) but he has also started hanging upside down, like no hands or feet, just hanging from his tail. Id pick him up and put him bock uptop, but id find him in the bottom section of his vertical cage at work. Today I got home and he has about 5mm of his intestine sticking out. Some 25 years ago we had an iguana when i was a child and the same thing happened, Vet told us it was pretty much the end is near. Is there anything I can do? we dont have a "exotic" vet near us so any advice is worth it.

That looks more like his hemipenes to me. Regardless of what it is though, you’ll need a vet asap.
So its his sex gland? thats good right bc thats normal....?
Needs a Vet... It is dried out could be a sperm plug stuck in it. With hemipenes they push them out but then retract them back in when the cham is healthy. But this is normally quite quick within a few minutes. If left out like it has been and not treated it will kill him.
Edit also it is not normal for them to just hang from their tail.
