I did a couple of things, the first thing I did was sit for several hours with my finger supporting her rear to help avoid another prolapse. I also checked her about every 4 hours to make she she had not prolapsed again.
Starting the next day I made bug juice (pedalite, ensure, & blend with crickets - then strain) and dripped several ounces on her mouth one small drip at a time. This was in addition to misting her several times a day until she drank.
On Friday she & I spent a couple of hours out in the sunshine, and Sunday afternoon I moved her from the montane room, to upstairs. This was because often times higher temps will help in the recovery of a sick chameleon. The montane room is cooler and very humid, where as upstairs with the panthers and veileds is warmer and not as humid. I put her in a tub with a uvb above her and no basking light as the ambient room temp there is 78. I lined the bottom of her tub with with wet paper towels and sprayed the sides so her humidity stayed high. Finally she both ate and pooped yesterday!!! Now we are taking it one day at a time.
She is still in her tub, in fact one of the picture shows her above the tub at the highest point on her plant, over looking her world.
I am not advising other people go the route I took, it is just what worked for me.
