Like breeding a Lion to a Tiger... This IMO is one of the things that is truly sick about how humans always have to try to create something different. Heaven forbid we just enjoy the original wonder of an animal for what it is.

True but with that said... Even with Ligars only the females can reproduce the males can not. Does this not say something on its own?

My idea of beautiful Creation of God is a bit different then yours I suppose. Everyday animals are a beautiful creation in their own right. A white elephant while rare is a perfect example of a special animal and gift.

I suppose my issue is when humans try to cross breed... Look at cross breeding in dogs. We have created dogs with hip issues, eye issues, under bites, heart defects which then can be carried on to their puppies genetically. All because we want designer dogs... So while yes it can be done are the risks worth it?

This is where all humans have to make their own decisions on what is ethical and right for them.

I wonder if 2 chameleons of a different species crossed over in maddy and found an urge to mate.... probably not but it might've happened.

Agreed I very much dislike designer dog breeders as well as designer cat breeding apart from the tiger cat it's really cool looking lol and has little to no side effects but the munchkin cats and Bulldogs that can barely get around break my heart..

Its completely natural, he was actually very gentle in comparison to the majority of "locking up" I've witnessed in the past, possibly do to her large size.

We have hundreds of people come to this forum and quite a few younger members. Keeping it clean without crossing the line is appropriate. I do not care what year it is. I am not your mother and what your parents want you influenced by is their business. But this is a Chameleon forum. Talking about the specifics of copulation can and should be done in an adult manner.

It would be a shame if this forum were to be forced to set up age restrictions keeping our younger enthusiasts from being able to access the priceless information this forum has to offer. Jokes here and there are great we all love to laugh but try to keep them pg. Just pretend you're joking with your younger siblings and dont say anything that the little ones shouldn't hear. please stop I get the point and he's not being sarcastic at least i think he isnt.. 1 or 2 pg13 jokes may slip by now and again and thats probably ok but uneccesary ones shouldn't happen and can easily be avoided. jack ripper and beman I understand completely.

No never, I'm glad you guys share the same passion I do in chameleons I got my first when I was your age and wish I had this forum back then. And I appreciate a good sense of humor but when on the forums I have to try hard not to veer off topic or joke around too much cause this is a house of learning doctors lol I do remember when I had my first beer though. Thanks again and please if you have anything else to add on the topic of discussion don't hesitate to chime in.
