Internship at the local Zoo!

Well, I was out and about spreading the word about my Herpetological Society's "like" page and group on Facebook and stopped in at the local zoo. After handing them the flyer and talking to them about it, I then asked if they have any applications or any openings to help at the zoo. Well, they only had a spot open for the Gift Shop.. I got other information for internships at the zoo. So I took them all! Ha ha. I did come across the one pertaining to the animals and mainly reptiles area. I am just needing to make a resume and contact the direct of the zoo! Wish me luck! Now of to find out how to make a professional looking resume!

Hey man, best of luck with that :). I've been trying to think of ways to get a change of career into something like that recently too..............

Thank You all! I am by no means changing my career, as I don't really have one yet. I just would like to get a touch of animal related careers before I jump all the way in. I found a website that helps with resumes! Making one right now! I have this one in the bag. ;)

Does it require any college? Sounds cool. If you have Microsoft Word go to file then new and select a template for a resume. Or Resume wizard.

I'd be happy to help with a resume if you need it!

I went on a "free" site and it wasn't free... I have a resume setting on pages (MacBook) but I can't figure it out ha ha. Any and all help is appreciated!

As stated above.. I have a MacBook, but it does have a resume thing on it. I used Resume wizard or whatever. T.T

You can have Microsoft Word on a Macbook. Resume Wizard is best.

You never want to say I on a resume. I, I am, etc.
For example,
I do have experience caring for dogs...
**Experienced in caring for dogs...**
And don't mention what you don't know how to do, or if you don't do certain things, or have never worked doing things or list not having extracurricular activities.
