International Shipping...

Hello. Has anyone had any experience with international shipping/importing of chameleons, or other reptiles? I'm finding varying information on the subject, but will try to contact my state authorities on the subject, but was just curious of anyone's firsthand endeavors. Also, it would likely be for only 1 or 2 animals. Thanks

If you want to ship chameleons internationally you need something called a CITES permit on both the shipping and recieving end. Chameleons are a CITES classified animal appendix 1 I believe.

international shipping

hi Im from puerto rico and i had chameleons shipped to me everytime, there are some state regulations on witch species can and cant be shipped. and we often use common carriers such as usps and ups, delta dash to recived the chameleons. But since Puerto Rico is somehow part of the US i dont think we need Cities permits or another paper work, i think that, for other countries you would need all that paper work and fees. usually is not worth the money if you are going to ship a small amount of animals.
