so i put 8 crix in my guys cage today...they all climbed to the top and perched a few inches away from the light for their heat and comfort......after 3 hours none were eaten...so i tried this.....

i flick them all of the room....and they had to climb back up to the top.....30 minutes later half were gone...i guess the eyes of a cham dont like to look into direct sunlight....

Well I'd say not, though I think movement has more to do with it! Crix that are nice and warm dont move much!

good point...but the bb flies buzzed all around near his light and he didnt touch them...but once one buzzed a few feet away buezz....buzzz...zapp!
