Interested in doing a small free range soon... BUT

This just popped in my head a couple hours ago but 1 problem. My cage that I'm building is 24x48x48 divided to make two 24x24x48 cages. Well, I was thinking about doing a small free range on both sides of the cage so they can have a little bit of time outside of the cage. But problem is I have one female and 1 male veiled and as I've read they can be very territoral. So I was wondering if there's a way to actually do this without too much stress on both of them. Both are too young to think about mating so I'm not worried about that right now.

Dumb question I know but just trying to get things figured out

No such thing as a dumb question when you're learning I think it would be ok if it was already in they're territory hence by their cages already
