On Thursday, we put our Christmas tree and decorations up. The tree is artificial and we started putting it together in front of Monty's viv. Well, the little guy was so interested in what was going on that he sat as close to the front as he could and watched us the whole time! Usually he sits at the back in his basking spot (when he's not wandering about), so I thought this was really cute! My friend also says that his clutch mates are just as inquisitive - as soon as she opens their viv they all run to the front to see what's happening! They are also very active babies - Monty doesn't very often sit still for long and does circuits in his viv and uses all his space, whereas Veiled babies just seem to sit and eat all day, lol! It's no wonder that the Jax babies gain weight and grow so slowly - they probably burn off a lot of calories because they are so active!
It also has fake snow on some of the branches and I worry that it would get into their eyes, so sadly they won't get to climb on it!
