Hi my name is Austin, I’ve recently been trying to gain information about chameleons but it seems to be a difficult task because all the website and videos say the same broad stuff. I was wondering if Someone could explain to me their routine on caring for their chameleon, like feeding routine, hygiene, what habitat, etc. Also I was wondering what chameleon would be the best entry level Cham. Thanks everyone :)

Hi. Welcome to the forums. So the best chams to start with would be a male veiled or panther chameleon. Females have extra care requirements.

They should be fed in the morning so they have to to bask and digest their food. They need a variety of food that are well gutloaded and dusted with calcium or vitamin powders.

for hygiene just wash you hands and clean their cage routinely.

for habitat they will need a minimum of 2x2x4’ enclosure. There are many ways to go with this.

There is tons of info in the resource section of the site here.
