Info on Globifer Chameleon

Hi guys I was jus wondering if anyone on here had any experience with the globifer chameleon, price ranges and possibly some photos...Thats my next interest to add to my chameleon nation...O..and where i could possibly find a breeder in the US...Thanks

you wont have much luck. im sure you know they are banned, i think a member or two had a pair a while back, havent seen anything recently.

Yep, unless you're planning on supporting the black market trade/smuggling you're not going to be able to find any Calumma globiferum for sale in the U.S., and probably not even then, as international shipments have been suspended since the mid-1990's.

Hey Kent,

I've seen you use the spelling "Calumma globiferum" and "Calumma parsonii cristerferum" a number of times in the past. Just so you know, those changes to the spelling were invalidated and the correct spelling is Calumma globifer and Calumma parsonii cristifer, etc. Here is an article written about it: http://www.chameleonnews.com/?page=article&id=1

Oh, thanks, I hadn't seen that and thought I was using the most current. I believe that's what Glaw and Vences even used in their 3rd edition? Thanks for correcting me.
