I'd say as cool as you might think your Cham looks on a pot plant it's a bad idea. Chameleons are very well known for every now and then for nibbling on there plants. You are either going to end up with the least stressed out Cham in the world with the munchies or it might turn out to be a poisonous plant then you are going to have issues. I honestly really don't know.
Hopefully you took your Cham out of his cage then placed him on the plant for an interesting pic to say the least.

Why does seem to come up so regularly? While it's not the end of the world for a silly photo op, don't let your cham climb on the pot plants. Skin contact with plant resins may transfer chemicals that can make your cham sick. Plus, super unsanitary for something intended to be "consumed" to allow contact with a reptile. Sheesh.

If hes so family to you, listen to the other members who are telling you its not a safe idea.

no people are assuming, the plant he was on had no resin or buds yet it was for a picture. i was sharing a picture that is all, didnt expect negative feedback i do whats best for my chameleon because he is apart of my family that is what i was implying by saying that, never to hurt him. sorry for any confusion. i honestly appreciate the concern and always get help from the forum.
