incandescent bulb, frosted or not frosted?

i need to switch over to an incandescent bulb from my current heat bulb to keep my female veileds temps lower. I was wondering if frosted bulbs are ok or if they were bad for chams as i have lots around home or if i should go out and buy a clear one?
