In sync shedding

Soo does anyone else have multiple chams that all tend to shed at the same time? This whole time I thought it was me but I spoke w another member earlier and found out theirs do the same . So now I'm wondering how common it is ? I have 4 chams (3 Panthers and 1 parsons) & they all shed within the same week haha . Kinda weird/cool

That's really interesting! So that's what they call "Florida Snow." My pygmy chameleon and furcifer willsii both shed within 24 hours of each other last week. Though that's only two out of five for me. Still an interesting observation.

My adults typically shed one after the other too. Does anyone know the reason for this?

My chams tend to shed within the same week or two also. My veileds are pretty in sync with each other and my male panther is just a bit off their schedule. My female panther sheds very quickly and secretly, and she’s still growing a bit so has her own schedule. I’ve assumed it has to do with humidity or seasonal changes.

Maybe they release some sort of chemical signal the others react to?
Just my thoughts, I don’t know a lot about this.

my cham shed yesterday and is also shedding today

I find that it occurs that way mostly in the spring.

Love everybody chiming in with different opinions/views ! I'm not really sure the cause but I know all mine are normally within a week of eachother. Even the younger ones / parsons . Very interesting indeed

My males do, right now two of them are shedding. All three shed the same time during the winter too. Lol

I believe i listened to a podcast on academy and they believe they release a pheromone thats causes there skin to trigger a shed in simple terms.

That happened to me 3 days ago with my chameleon, beardie and Leo...
