Imports - Positive Changes

The two melleri that I have left after the gravid female passed are doing much better. Drinking like crazy and actively hunting and eating. Their colors have improved and I am so ecstatic that I think they are rebounding very nicely. Just wanted to share some photos of them. I thought sharing something positive that came from the last import would be nice!

No, the importing for these guys is still a mega disaster. I just picked two that I thought were the healthiest. Much easier to bounce back ones that you get to hand pick rather than what the seller will ship you.

That is pretty big. I like how it looks, it is pretty cool. I like your feeder container with the stick, its very effective and very simple.

Always nice to see Melleri! Really glad to see them eating. It certainly seems like they will acclimate for you at this point. Your set up looks great!

Those pictures brought a tear to my eye! They look FANTASTIC!!! So much better than they did. Will you be trying to get any more or are you all full up now?

Thanks Janet...I know you were rooting for them. I really would like to get a few more to be satisfied. Right now I have 4 females and 4 males. If I could get 2-3 more females, then I would feel good about the ratio.

Just let me know when you'll likely be here and we can do this all over again, hopefully with 100% survival rate this time. I wonder if you will forget another one? I hope not--I am not set up for them!
