Import/Export

See I didnt want to seem rude by asking someone in essance how to "Compete" with them. Not that I would be any competition. So I suppose I could ask around and hope for responses! Are there any importers/exporters on here?

Travel online and literally to other places, and deal with people that are a little more educated than some.

There really are enough importers right now anyways, might want to try something else.

I have and plan on doing more imports of CB animals. Personally I think there are enough people bringing in WCs.

I do thank everyone for there comments and opinions, and I dont want to come off as rude but I asked for resources, tips and so on, on how to start import/export. I did not ask for people to chime in on how I need to change my plans and my goals. No one is going to deter me from what I am going to do. So I do thank you ChameleonRave for the advice and I thank you colorcham for the first part of your advice. And as for whether or not I was going to be importing/exporting WC or CB reptiles that was not mentioned in my first post so I am not sure why it was assumed I would be doind WC Reptiles. But just In case anyone was wondering it will involve WC reptiles in a small way, but only to strenghthen bloodlines and and so on, for the most part it would be for CB species.

If you are going to post on a forum, don't expect to always hear what you want to hear.

Taking that attitude with this post will probably deter people from helping you further on down the line for not wanting to deal with posts like the one you just made.

People can post what they want, to make people do otherwise... well, you'll find out.

That being said I wish you the best with what you want to do. Take the advice from everyone as a whole and pick out the best advice and utilize it.

Just because you do not want to hear it does not make it wrong.

Well, my post was a general statement. It doesnt take very long to find this site while searching on google.

Assuming you are in the US. I dont think many importers are going to give up their sources for animals very easily but obviously that is one of the first things you need to find. A reputable one at that:rolleyes:

Thank you very much... I did find that site. I am just hunting around for tips on sources and so on. But I think I'm gonna do the research myself. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for the help.

Tradekey.com and Alibaba.com are decent sources to find animal dealers. Thing is, you must find people that are willing to show you references and it is all about trust.

Join every reptile forum on the internet too lol.

It would be very hard for you considering these sort of jobs are desired by tons of people, it is hard to get good sources, that's why most folks give up. Good sources = decent doe. Keep looking.

What sort of reptiles are you trying to get in to? Rare expensive kinds? or...?
