What a cutie! Had a similar thing happen yesterday with my little boy... I put the silkworm cup down in front of his cage as I was opening it and he tried to go straight in Greedy little guys!

just curious,how big do veiled males get? We got him from a pet store so were not sure of his exact age...but from what we have looked at,were thinking somewhere between 4-6 months??

Your guess-timate is just about right. My boy was that size when he was 5ish months old. Males are known to range anywhere from 18-23 inches from nose to tail when they are full-grown. My year old male is probably about 14-15 inches long right now. It takes them a little time to mature His veil, however, will get very tall! Mine still tries to squeeze through small areas that he was able to when he was very small. Growing pains for him, I guess!
