Im traveling im going home for Christmas on Thursday and I don't want to leave my chameleon alone in my apartment during my Christmas break so im taking him with me. But i wanted to ask what is the best way to take my chameleon home. what can i put him in? I appreciate any help thank you

How far are you traveling or how long? I would put him in a box as if you were shipping him. He will sleep and wake up to see your family.:)

How old is your cham?

If you have a small pet carrier, you can put in some braches and what not. Try and secure them. You'll be good to go :]

where my family lives is about 1hr 15min from where I live. So i wont be traveling to far. My chameleon is about 10 months old.

I'm probably going to catch some flack but idc. I'm sharing because I think it's pretty cool. It works for me and Syd my cham prefers it.

I live at school a ways from home. On our first trip I did have him in a box but the entire time he was flipping out in there, flash backs or something. So I opened it up, he crawled up the rear view mirror accessories and chilled on the mirror for the remainder of the trip. Now when we travel I let him out. He finds his spot, either mirror or head rest, and chills there the rest of the time checking out the scenery.

lol thats so cool. I did that when I bought my baby red tail boa, I just let him chill on the handle that you use to pull yourself into your car
