His body looks good an he looks healthy, but the base of his tail does look kinked so he may have had a spinal injury at some point. When did you get him and how old was he? If he can get around fine and his tail doesn't start to look necrotic I would say don't worry about it.

I got him when he was about 11 months but he really has no problems climbing or gettign around at all. he actually has a habit of sleeping upside down or on the side of the cage.

I agree he looks healthy, but it is unusual to never curl up his tail. Chameleons all seem to like sleeping in awkward positions, probably to make sure they are out of the way of traffic and predators at night
