i have recently purchased a smabava panther chameleon, he is approx 11 months old, fit and healthy, bought him 3 months ago but only got him fri and been visiting once a week so i know he is ok. . .
but, he started to shed last night on his feet and tail, and today the head, back and legs. .
why i am here is because he has suddenly stopped using front left leg, im getting very concerned now as this just started bout 2 hours ago...
i have a dripping system plus i am misting few times. . . i have a very large mesh home for him with plants and vines, forest bed surface, he has crickets in there at the mo but i have only seen him eat onec, he has the uv bulb and basking light, all set up by the shop owner himself..
do you think the leg thing might be tight skin? or has he done sumthing to it? also is it ok to mist him too to help him? thanx

more h2o and some more heat will help some times it dose take alil longer for them to shed but wait a day and see what he looks like

Welcome! One thing you should change (from what you've described so far) is the forest bed substrate. Though it can look nice, having anything on the bottom other than nothing or, say, paper towels may lead to problems if your cham ends up ingesting any of the material. Other than that, I agree with what has been posted so far: pictures and more info! :)

Welcome to the forum!

You said..."he has suddenly stopped using front left leg"...is there any swelling at the joints or bends in it? Is there an area that looks like the skin hasn't shed from? Could he have fallen?

Not related to the leg...but...substrates aren't recommended because many of them can cause impactions.

What kind of lighting dide the shop keeper set up for you? Is it a Tube or Screw in type of lamp?

Is he moving around the cage? how is he not using his leg?

Edit: Welcome to the forum, I hope you find it helpful!
