Runny feces for about 3-4 days. Has been lethargic and decreased appetite for the past 2 days. Vet appointment has been scheduled but isn't for another two weeks. Not sure if he should be taken in as an emergency.

One thing you should do (and maybe you can do this before the appointment in 2 weeks) is to bring a fresh fecal sample to that vet. They could analyze it for parasites pretty simply and have the results quickly too. If your cham is drinking a lot right now that could create runnier stools, but this is also a sign of parasites. Is the stool particularly smelly?

We are going to submit a fecal sample to vet once we take him to his appointment; however, in the meantime I just want to make sure that this isn't an immediate emergency.

His stool has developed an odor whereas before it did not have a smell at all. It's not particularly strong or odd but it is present.

I've read that parasites can occur from contact with other animals or unsanitary handling of the insects. We keep our feeders really clean, is it possible that the pet store we've been purchasing the crickets from could be the cause of parasites?

Thank you very much your response.
