i purchased a female nosy panther in early june, she was so tiny and i didnt have a problem raising her because i have done it before. her basking tem was in the mid 80's with ambient temps in the mid 70's. As she got older ive raised her basking temps to high 80's low 90. humidity was good but has suffered lately since its winter and very dry in my house. i would say 40-50%..
Her diet was 12 crickets everyday dusted with d3 until she was 6 months. i then started to give her 10 crickets (slightly bigger in size) everyday with mineral-o; dusting repcal w/ d3 every other week and multivit on the days i didn't use the d3 (every other week). around October, i was taking note of her coloration (lots of blue spots, signs of sexual maturity) I then started cutting back on her food intake because she wasn't eating as much, so i offered her crickets every 2-3 days (same dusting method). Her crickets are fed cricket crack with a potato or some other produce i have from my fridge and water..I brought her to get a checkup in september and she was great, the doc said i have the healthiest looking chams hes seen in a while. no parasites. She was eating well until i would say late November-December..i was noticing left over crickets. and up until now, she has just stopped eating completely the past two weeks. i've had a shallow bin in her enclosure to see if she would try to dig, but nothing.
I feel she is a little big for her enclosure but there's been nothing i could do until now (just about done with her new 2'X2'X3' enclosure). im guessing her appetite has to do with this..? she will still move around her enclosure and ive seen her drink... i will also see her with one eye closed under her basking light. my biggest concern is the egg laying because i don't want to miss it knowing with a young female, it could be anytime. it has also been a month since last shed i know they tend to shed less frequently but could the low humidity be her problem?..she does look alittle dehydrated. :/ hope this helps
