And please give me a rundown on care. Housing, substrate, heating, lighting...

A co-worker is caring for this guy for the summer while school is out, and I just want to make sure they have the best care information...

Can you see the picture? I posted it on photobucket from my phone and I am getting a moved or deleted warning.

Can not see it. Perhaps you are accidentally deleting a character or something?

it looks a bit like a morph of a leopard gecko but lighting is bad.. im not the best with it.. or else a fat tailed gecko...

Halfway indeed.

It looks like it has a regenerated tail. Juli, any story on this guy?

Yes-he is a classroom pet. My co-workers son "won" the opportunity to take him home for the summer. Of course with me being the "lizard person", she came to me for advice. I also gave her a tank since the one he was in was broken. He did lose his tail-and I am not 100% sure on this--when someone in the classroom accidentally dropped a gerbil in the cage and "they got in a fight"?????? Like I said-all third hand info.

Oh wow, that's a little scary... accidentally dropping a gerbil? Perhaps your co-worker's son should see if they can't give it a permanent home.

Any who, good luck "lizard person". :p

10 Gallon tank is perfect. With a UTH set around 85-90 with a hide on hot side and a hide on cool side. They are nocturnal, and love to hide. They need a small water bowl, and no substrate i would use paper towels. I have had many of these in the past. Real great natured pet. They love fast moving feeders, it seems to trigger some feeding frenzy, lol. Mix his feeders up some like offer a few roachs then crickets or worms. By far the easiest pet.:D Good luck
