Ideal Food for a baby Cham?

I would guess, that if you got him from one of the big box petstores, that he is more than 2 - 3 weeks. Probably a few months.

A great resource for food. I would recommend reading all of the Care Resources documents, they will answer a number of your questions and you won't have to wait for someone to respond to a post.

Can you post a pic of him? Pin head crickets are usually the best for that size of cham, also fruit flies. Do you know what kind of cham he is? Panther or veiled?

as with adult chameleons, the best diet is a varied diet.

appropriately sized crickets
small silkworms
small terrestrial isopods
baby superworms
bean beetles
fruit flies

Pin head crickets (baby crickets), SUPER small superworms, or fruit flies. Those are basically your options.

Measure the bug, if it is bigger than the space between your chameleon's eyes, it is too big.

He's a veiled chameleon, I would post a pic, but I'm on my phone.

I agree with what's been stated, but I really doubt he's 2-3 weeks old, if he was he'd be tiny.
