Idea for retro fitting Exoterra

So I'm in the process of building a huge furniture grade enclosure. However, it's not looking like I will have enough room for it in my current apartment so for the interim time I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to add on a screen "box" to the top of my Exoterra for a little bit of extra room. Basically I would built a cube with 5 sides leaving the bottom open. I could then take out the top screen insert on the Exo and place the addition on top. Anyone have any thoughts on this. I'd be able to do this for cheaper than buying a whole new reptibrezee enclosure and I already have drainage built into my Exo.

I've actually seen this before, just make sure you securely attach the screen box to the lip of the exo terra. You wouldn't want it to shove over slightly and have your chameleon escape!

Dang! I thought I had an original idea!

Addition competed! Took an afternoon and cost about $80 including the big ficus tree. Total dimension increased from 18 x 18 x 24 to 18 x 18 x 52. Should make coco more comfy until her giant mansion is completed haha.

It fits on the self that the original screen sat on and then it's zip tied on. It'll be slightly annoying if I have to do maintenance on the top half but it's only for 7 months till I move into a new apartment.
