Is it ok for my new cham to be walking around still after lights out. Just went to check on her and lights have been out for 30 mins and she is still walking about like she was since i brought her home. She had a long day! thought she'd be pooped by now? I know I am.
Any suggestions on what to do to clam her down? Covered her with a towel and the room is quiet and dark. My other Chammies went to bed hours ago. Should i turn her light back on so she can find a spot to sleep? Or will she just figure it out herself without the light?

She will have to settle herself. She will learn when lights go out and will start going to sleep with the other. How long has she been doing this? Some take longer to settle into a pattern than others do.

this is the first night i have had her. so i guess i'm just worrying like a mother hen. i'm gonna settle Myself down and wait it out. i'll check on her later though

oh my well i'll vote for you!! Laurie award for the best mother hen of the year

you know whats weird that she is doing it again tonight. not sure i'm really alowed to say but i got her from petsmart and they don't turn out the lights till 9 and even then the lights in the store stay on.

Hahaha "allowed to say". I'd always recommend not getting from chain pet stores but that's a different topic and not my place. Maybe she was recently imported. I guess IMO, the best thing to do is see if she adjusts after a week or so.
