I want suggestions on my cricket and roach homes

Here are some pictures of how I keep my crickets and roaches. Any suggestions? I give the crickets ground up almonds and seaweed kale carrots apple and cilantro. The roaches get the same minus the almond seaweed combo. I do mix it up with some oranges mint basil. I have been meaning to go buy alfalfa but haven't yet. So I want suggestions.

The roaches will produce better and be less stressed in a dark area. So like a rubbermaid bin with colored sides would be better. Just cut a hole in the top and screen it and they should be fine. I would definitely add some spirulina to your gutload though, and maybe some brewer's yeast as they tend to be super foods and really boost the health of the gutload. I would add a heat pad to the roach container if you want them to breed.

thank you for the info. I am not ready for them to breed them

Andee was reading my mind on the spirulina and yeast. My roaches go crazy for bee pollen as well. I stack my egg carton vertically so the frass and egg cases drop down to the bottom.
