Well just minutes ago I finalized my plunge investment into a solar meter 6.2 and an Arcadia 12% t5 which was recommended by Todd since I have such a large free range and a lot of vegetation :) I'll also be updating this thread on all the current UVB bulbs I have including the fluker's sunspot MV bulb, reptiglo 5.0 and 10.0 compact and reptisun 5.0 figure I might as well share my results with the community ;)

I'll be very interested also! I have a solar meter 6.2 (love it) - but I would like to switch over to the T5's at some point. Thanks in advance for your input!

Awesome man you wont be dissapointed! What size? And which fixture are you using?

I will be getting the 46" bulb I will be using a DIY ballast reflector system by giesman lighting I've found the reflectors to be the best in the aquarium use for spread and reflectiveness....also with the ballast I can run up to 4 bulbs so I will have the Arcadia, 10k bulb, 3,500k and 6,500k bulb for a true full spectrum of lighting

I also upgraded to T5's last week. Much brighter and I am sure my panther has become more active since. Unless its just my mind playing tricks to justify the expense ;)
