It's such a roll of the dice with wild caught... You never know how old they are, if they do indeed have a parasite, or what sort of conditions they were kept in.

You gave her a good life, and I hope your experience expands, as you keep learning and giving your Chams their best life.

I saw my local Petco had 18x18x24 terrarium today. But alas, I skipped away the temptation to buy it. I kept thinking of moving onto Carpet chameleon. Or plan another hoehnelii.
 
Very sorry for your loss😢 Sometimes we can’t control their outcome and of course her age was only a guess, maybe she just passed away due age. Small species have a way shorter lifespan then the larger species.
