I think its about egg o clock

Hey guys I'm pretty sure my little veiled lady is about to lay some eggs. She refused to eat this morning and is looking a bit plump. The past 2 days she's been hanging around the bottom of her house so I'm thinking that the time is here. I'm pretty nervous because this is a new experience for the both of us. Any tips, things I should look out for, things I should and shouldn't do? The LAST thing I could possibly want is for her to become around.

uhh do you have the laying bin ready? If shes digging at the bottom, and looks like a potato, its time. Just scoop her out and pop her in the laying bin with little disturbance. Check in a few times a day.

Personally i get a huge plant pot, fill it half with mix, and put boards over the top so she gets some light and privacy. My current mix is peatmoss and top soil, that has been rototilled and then pressed down a bit. Everyones mix is different, but you want easy to tunnel in, but not easy to collapse. If it collapse, she just digs another hole...

I have her egg laying bin ready its mostly sand with a little bit of top soil. She hasn't shown much interest in though right now she's just sitting on her basking spot. She doesn't seem all that active this morning and again hasn't eaten her breakfast, which is the first time she's done this since I've had her.

Patience and make sure to give her plenty of privacy. Is best to cover the visible sides of your enclosure, making sure to leave ample ventilation. I made some holes in the sheet so I could monitor her progress without disturbing her. If you don’t have an automated mister, you’ll have to be discrete in your misting. She won’t be interested in eating once she starts digging.
