I wouldn't recommend misting or dripping before the lights come on. 1. No need as your Cham should be sleeping and 2. It could possibly cause a bacteria issue.

everything looks good.. Is that the spray nossle hanging down?

Don't have the sprayer go off before the lights come on. (already been said)
Put a few more branches higher in the cage under the uv and the basking light. (also already been said)

He is not use to cup feeding yet but I think he will catch on to it very quickly with your set up

You are going to love him :)

naw thats a dripper
-fixed the mist thing
and ill get some more branches asap.

LOL cause I won't be able to see him until that night cause school + babysitting i told my mom he couldn't touch him till i got home:p:rolleyes:

6ichs even for a baby? I felt the screen and it felt like it's getting pretty hot
That's about how close I had mine, even when my cham was a baby. A lot of people like to elevate their heat lamp off of the top of the cage. A good method would be to use a screw hook and screw it into your ceiling and hang the cord to your heat lamp on the hook if you can.

It's not what I did, as I just placed the heat lamp on top of the cage, but it's just preferred by most so to make sure their cham never gets to close and gets burned, but my guy never did...

That's actually the exact bulb I was planning on getting when I started out, before I knew using a house bulb was ok. Now I just use a 60 watt regular house bulb, and this is for an almost year old Veiled, kept in the same type of enclosure as yours, and his main basking spot is approximately 6" from the light and the spot stays in the high 80s-low 90s. So I would getting only a 60 watt, since your cham will be a baby and they don't need as high a temp as adults, and even as adults they don't need temps as high as Veileds, and just get a house bulb as they are much cheaper ;)

You def want to make sure you get your basking temps right. As for why to have branches so high up is the UVB rays only penetrate the screen so far. That and you can run a lower wattage heat bulb to attain the right temps. As for the misting nozzle buy the basking site. Most of my chams don't like being misted directly. That said I do have a couple that when the Mistking goes off they prefer to go into the mist.

I told your mom to mist the cage before putting the baby in when he arrives. I told her it was ok not to feed him until you got home
