I havebeen setting up my enclousre for the last six weeks and I think I am ready for the male Jackson that I have been setting up for. I have the basking temp between 80-85 during the day and 65-70 at night (no heat or lights) and a 5.0 UVB. I have two large Pothos with clean, covered soil and a little dripper that is flowing nicely into them. Also have my trusty spray bottle with reptisafe in it for additional watering. Have my supplements ready, I had them already for my sons Green Anoles. My rabbit cage pan water control system is working great, may run a line to a bucket so I dont have to move cage to empty it, that is a pain. So am I ready to take the plunge, let me know what you think.

I think the basking spot is a little to warm. I keep mine at 79-81 and she has never had any heat problems. She enjoys it.

Pappa,

I'm moving my Panther to a 2x2x4 this weekend finally and was curious about hanging his Pothos like you have it. How are you attaching that hook through the screen exactly?

Thanks!

I cut a board (1x1/2) 18 inches long to go across the top of the cage and painted it black to match the cage. I then ran a hook from inside through the screen to the board and then used a chain to get it where I wanted it. It cost about $5.00 at Lowes.

Looks good! Basking spot should be right around 80, some like it a little warmer but personally I wouldnt go any higher than 82-83.

Cage looks great..

Personally, i would punt the current uvb light into oblivion and buy a fluorescent uvb. Might just save you some unnecessary problems straight off the bat. Some use that bulb with no ill effect while other have issues.

If you dont mind telling us your supplements you have for your anole.

that looks awsome what kind of plants are those in there.. inbox meee, please.. i'd like to know how you set it up . it looks fantastic!

Thanks for the feedback. Lets me know what I need to still tweak and where I am good. I used this forum directly to model my enclosure and could not have done it without everyone's help. Now all I need is the Cham!

Nice touch with the plywood over the top of the cage! Now get more branches in there! Real ones!
