My first thought too was "wow that's a big boy". I tried to zoom in as much as I could to take a look at his chest and arm pits, and honestly didn't see anything that thru up any flags. Is his chest periodically puffy? Are his front arm pits the same way? I have dealt with this issue w/ my male. I read as many threads about gular edema, and took some advice from a few many members on things to try to control it. Some folks were able to control it and never had any problems, and some it was just about just controlling it. It would come and go regardless of what they tried. No real worries, as long as its controlled, they can live perfectly happy lives.
I did a couple of things that I read about. One was not using pure tap water due to the typically mineral content of your water. I now only mist and drip w/ my filtered water from my kitchen sink filter. Its the kind that's about 35-45 bucks a filter change every 6 months. I also changed my daily calcium to Rep-Cal Calcium w/ no phosphorus and no d3. Since I've made those to changes, I have not ever seen his chest puffy, or really bad puffyness in his arm pits. I look all the time, and I haven't seen anything to worry about.
