I picked up this little pygmy today, the guy was begging me to take a few, anyways, I did the best I could at sexing but now Im beginning to think this is a male, not a female. HELP!

To me..it looks like a girl. Thats how my female pygmy looked like when i first got her.

It looks pretty young still, but if I had to guess it would be female.

I am good at sexing pygmys and she is certainly a female short tail compared to a male and also smooth ridges compared to the spikey male..congrats on your little girl

Im feeling a bit relieved, but Im still going to wait for a few more opinions. I know it is still a bit young though.

That pygmy is super cute! I hope to own a few one day. I'm a little scared of feeding them since the food would need to be small? Hope all goes well with your new addition!

Danny that is a female, females have a more rounded shape and males have a straighter body. Also female short tail and male has a longer tail.
