I need some help!

I am not sure if my chameleon is pregnant... sometimes it seems like she is scratching her head on the vine or trying to dig... She is about ten months old and i have heard that they lay their eggs around this time even if they havent mated. Does anybody know how to check them for eggs... I just set up a laying bucket but i still want to check. Please Help!

Can you post pics of her? check her belly, see if you can see or feel eggs in it. ALso, they can change colors when they become gravid. Having a laying bin in her cage is a good thing, especially if she is ready to lay. however, how big is it, and what are you using for it?

There are a few ways to tell if your girl is gravid, showing gravid colors, lumps in the belly area, wandering, and hanging out toward the bottom of the cage. Do you have a male to show? She will refuse to mate if she is gravid...

nevermind she stopped doing it and she seems happy... i am keeping the laying bucket in there tho.

I really think you should post a picture of her. Just because she stopped the behavior for a time doesn't mean she's not gravid.

You're smart to keep a laying bucket in there!
