I miss having a baby chameleon....

Well, I am getting pretty close to being ready for my next chameleon. Things are going great with L.B., he has pretty much outgrown his baby cage and is ready for an upgrade.

I have been looking around at different sites for potential next chameleons. Kinda want a Nosey be (ok, more than kinda, love the patterns), Dr O's recent pictures have me thinking. I like Sengals, I like Jacksons, etc... Of course I also kind of want to get a female veiled as well. Who knows which direction I will go...

Then, as I was looking around and saw some pictures of baby veileds and could not help but think back to when LB was a little guy:

I remember the first time I had my g/f hold him while I was cleaning out his cage. She was still in the "I dont like lizards, why did you have to have a chameleon so bad?" phase. She looked at his feet and said "God he has weird feet!" I remember commenting- "What, nothing about the eyes that move independently? All you notice are the feet?"

He was so cute when he was sleeping:

Then, back in May, his color and patterns really started developing nicely:

Few days to a week after that photo was taken he exploded with yellow bars and such, it was kind of exciting to watch!

And now, here he is today (or I guess technically yesterday...):

Its been fun watching him develop into the stud he is today. I remember being really hesitant about getting a veiled because of their reputation of being as one person put it: "Little Bast@$ds". He he... he was right, but I would not have L.B. any other way ;)

Just my reflection on my time with my little hand biting creature! He is currently on my foot for some reason...

[Edit]
Hard to see from the photo by the way but those greenish bars in between the yellow bars, are actually blue. Nice rainbow of colors my monster has.

They sure do sneak right out of the cute little baby stage don't they? Your boy has moved into the beautiful adult stage, he is gorgeous.

This is why runts rule... my 5 1/2 month panther girl is still about 3 inches...

Sweeeet!! nice boy u have there.
I love my little veiled, and he is not at all mean, in fact, he is coming along
very nicely and getting of age to start showing some color patterns.

Last pic I posted, he was still a baby.

I will have to post some fresh pics of him :)

Runts all the way! Makes you love them just a bit more, because they decided to stay in baby size just a bit longer;)
