Oh NO! I am SO sorry to hear that Penelope didn't make it and in fact I have tears running down my cheeks now, reading this thread! My heart breaks for you and the pain you must be in, having to make such a difficult decision. RIP Penelope, you will be missed.

One thing I want to say, I haven't been on the forum for a long time but in the short time I've been here I haven't seen anyone who is new to the world of chameleons AND so absolutely dedicated, caring and full of love for a little reptile. I know that Penelope's life took a turn for the better when you met her and she knew you were there for her. Great job and I really look forward to some pictures of your new little chameleon, when the time is right for you to take that step again.

Thank you SO much for your kind words.. still a little teary myself when I think of her (which is quite often).. I am very thankful for this experience and can't wait to add a new member to our family.

Even though Pennie isn't with me physically, all of the new additions to come in the future will be "ours" and a part of "our" family.. I know she is going to be just as excited as me when our new baby joins us!

She is very special to me still and changed my life in the short time I had her.. there is no way to describe it.

Thank you again for all your support... pictures are about 3-4 weeks away for our new baby!!!

Our new family member is only a few weeks away and I should have the new set up done by the end of next week! Will put up pics as soon as something happens
