I live in the city...

So I live in downtown San Diego, CA and I currently have my female veiled in a 2'x2'x4' screened cage with a uvb lamp and basking lamp. I'm sure most of you know that San Diego is 72 and sunny practically all year round. Obviously being outside would be great for her for not only the sun but the temperature drop at night (60s -low 70's).

Here's my concern, I live in an apartment in the middle of San Diego and there is a lot of noise outside. Will this stress her out with cars passing by all day (I live on the 6th floor)? I also wonder if I ever move out and then move to a place without access to the outdoors...I feel like that wouldn't be good for her going in and out and back in.

Any thoughts or recommendations? Fellow Socal people who live in a similar climate to San Diego: do you keep them inside or let them enjoy the outdoors?

the noise shouldnt affect her in anyway

and basically when weather permits, yoou can leave them outside all day and nite

but if its too cold or to warm, then bring them inside

what you stated are great temps , especially for a veield and she will love it

P.S: make sure it s not too windy for it to knock doown your cage, i learned the hard way, luckily my cham is fine and it was a small cage

Yeah I agree with Ace. I keep all my adults outside in SD all year. The problem is that there are many variables you must calculate for and an error can mean death. Feel free to ask me any questions.
