I have to write an essay about chameleons

Hello everyone as weird as this sounds, im glad the topic is chameleons. Someone i know wants me to write a essay about chameleons and why we love them. Why we are so attached to these animals and such. My question is does anyone have any ideas i can put in there oh and the biggest problem of all is it needs good vocab but i suck at that Any ideas? I want to start it today.

You could use scientific names for different species that people keep. Also, using terms like Oviparous (meaning egg laying) as with Panthers and Veileds, and Viviparous (giving birth to live young) as with Rudis and other live bearers (can't remember the others off hand, sorry!)

Hope this helps to get you started! Good luck with your essay - I bet once you get started you won't be able to stop, lol! At least you have to write about something you are interested in and know lots about already, so it shouldn't be too difficult!

I think they would prefer you use scientific names (especially when describing species) (and explain their meaning) as it will show you have done your research.
Write from the heart (why YOU love them) and use a dictionary to help with vocabulary.
Google is your freind for information.
Site sources , even internet ones, this is professional courtesy that will earn you points.
Include a glossary (a list of terms you use and their meaning. See lillys examples above).
Keep your presentation nice and neat, but understandable to others your age (dont get too scientific, long words that cant understand will bore your reader silly )
Most Importantly, Have fun! Its about something you enjoy, so let it show.
