This is Rosie. I have gone back and forth about mating her. I rescued her in october 2022 from texas and had her flown to me as no one was stepping up to help the poor girl. She is an ambilobe panther and very tiny and shy. I was told me that the owners thought she was egg bound and didnt want to watch her die so they put her outside in the sun in her cage and left her there. the people who knew, didnt know how to care for a cham so they called the girl i got her from who had reptiles and frogs. she had a small setup and got her food then went on here to find her a home. Not so sure how much if this is true. The sun burned the top of her eye lids, one was black and an area of her tail. i had her flown to me and she arrived fine. at the time, i had a one year old male veiled and an extra cage. Not as big but it would do. Within three weeks she laid her first clutch of 10 eggs over three days. She refused to use the laybin and just layed them on the floor of the enclosure. After talking with several breeders, i found this is not uncommon as they think the floor is the forest floor. so i modified the cage instead of getting a bigger one and added an entire bottom that is layered with 5" rocks, sand, then sand and soil. Anyway about five or six months later she laid more. This time she dug all over the place but i only found three perfect eggs. i couldnt dig up the entire base so there are probably some buried. Heres some pics. I am still unsure about breeding her but if you can drive to los angeles with your boy, we can givenit a go. I am disabled and cant drive far. Then once she lays the eggs, i will just give them to you. Except for maybe one. She is very small last measured at 5-6" inches. As long as he isnt a bigboy, we should be fine. Btw i am laurie. Well think aboit it and send me a pm

Rosie is a beautiful little darling and she is so lucky you stepped in to save her. No cham deserves to be treated that way. Thank you for taking her ❤️

Both eye lids were sunburned and one was black but patience and a tender touch and time have healed up fine with only minimal scar tissue. She is so sweet and i just adore her!
