I hate people

Just found a poor baby corn snake in the middle of the road trying to get warm by the lamplight. I don't think he was hit by a car but he is so limp :( I don't think he will make it, if he isn't already gone. I hate people! 2 boys just caught a damn american alligator in a pond near my house! 2 ft baby, I don't know what the government did with it :(

I went out of town the other day, and the hotel we were staying at had a pond w/ a 4 ft. Alligator. I caught a few 9 year olds throwing rocks at it while it was looking for hand outs.

I've yelled at kids for doing stupid crap like that. I'm scary enough to be quite effective. Luckily I haven't had to duke it out with any parents yet, but I'm sure that day is coming...because I don't just ignore that kind of thing.

Yeah I would have beat their asses. But I live in NEW HAMPSHIRE! Luckily these young herpetologists caught it before it could hurt someone, or before winter came :( People used to just let alligators go in the merrimack river when they were legal and they would be found washed up on shore come winter. Poor little corn snake, didn't stand a chance :(

Last year couple of guys took a girl's bearded dragon and smashed it's skull with a chair leg. Now, if that girl had been me, I would be charged as an adult with murders right now awaiting my sentence.

YEA its hard when your really a compassionate individual

Well their ignorance is causing us responsible reptile keepers grief! All these laws now banning certain reptiles, it's absurd! Can't even transport a burmese python over state borders anymore legally, as well as 3 other species of large snakes. They are afraid people will let them go, but now they have no choice if they have to move and can't rehome them. It's either euthanize them or release them, and then they will die because exotic warm weather animals can't survive here.

I'm right there I cant stand by and let a helpless animal be harrased or harmed..

That law sucks! But any dedicated reptile owner will say F the police. And drive that snake right over state lines.. i would no questions asked. Letting them go is something a irresponsible dumba** would do.. the same kids throughing rocks at an alligator to see it do something cool!...

Your short story there just boiled my blood on sight.. I would be very happy to sit on deathrow after I got done with them

I once had a young suitor kill a snake for me. We had to be like 10-11 years old, and I told him about how I had been playing at the beach and when I looked up there was a very long black snake, standing up to my eye level, just staring at me. It spooked me, but I just left the area and that was that. Well, I guess he thought the manly thing to do to win me over would be to find the snake and kill it, so that's what he did.

When he told me he had something to show me and I saw a black snake in the grass with a Swiss army knife in the back of it's head, I was livid.
