i called him george so its like boy george as in karma karma karma chameleon, but i have been told that they cant be sexed until there 18 month old so if he turns out to be a girl i will call him georgia or georgie.

Really.... the guy in the shop told me they had to be 18 months or older. is there anything i can do to see what sex he is ?? or who could check for me ?

Male veileds will have littke bumbs called spurs on the back of their hind feet, im not sure how early they become very prominent but its definitely within a couple months, you might even be able to tell now.

First off... nice chameleon.
Secondly, we generally don't listen to petstores at ALL because they know NOTHING about chameleons.

You should remove the bark at the bottom, leave it bare or use paper towels. You're going to need a new enclosure soon, we usually use a 2x2x4 mesh cage. Take out the water dish and they don't use those bark tunnels. They climb on branches up high and need a lot of foilage.
