I got him home!!!

Hatch date was March this year. He is very very friendly and comes right out and goes onto my arm!!!
Thank you all for the much appreciated help you gave me in getting set up for him. I’m not so nervous anymore, knowing I can reach out for your help anytime also helps!!!
One more thing…what type of cups do you feed these guys in? He has been fed in a cup they said so far. Or should I let them loose and let him hunt?

Personally, I use these as feeder cups. You can also just use a plastic drinking cup too, for hand feeding sessions, but perhaps look for colors aside from red, since chams seem to react to it.
There are a few feeders you can let loose, for example, when wax worms mature to wax moths (though they are really good at hiding) or when BSFL mature into flies (really engaging for them)
Aside from things with flight, I would suggest keeping the crawly bugs in a feeder cup. Feeder runs, or shooting galleries, are popular (I have this one). They give the bug a surface to climb up, but no way to escape (unless they're crickets lol)
Speaking of crickets, you really don't wanna let these guys run around because they do bite lizards.

What sort of bugs do you have to feed him? Letting them go free isn't so bad, but with cup feeding you're better able to tell how much he's eating.

So do you live close by ?

I have some crickets, giant mealworms, wax worms and BSFL I just offered him some and he gobbled them all up! Lol I’m surprised as he has just been here a couple hours.
For now my clear bird feeder that suctions on to the window seems to be working. I think I’ll try to contain the crickets but turn the flies etc loose.

Awesome you've got a good smorgasbord of food! They love to chase files, and moths too!! I'm just across the Rockies in BC.
