Hi Just wondering I have been using a dial gauge to measure the humidity in my boys' cage. Typically readings are great 50-80. I have two live plants in there 18x18x36 screened cage. So I added a probe positioned near the basking spot between the leaves of the largest plant. It frequently gets sprayed due to positioning. this probe has been reading 99% humidity the other two dials in the cage are reading still between 50-80 in different areas. Should I not totally go with the probe due to that fact it is in the plant and gets sprayed or should I go with the probe completely? In the past I had some issues getting the humidity up so I added a small cool mist humidifier on the outside to help. Now I am thinking it may be too much? Any thoughts. Basking temp is typically 80-90 and cool area 65-80. Thanks! btw he is a veiled, less than a year old. 9 months I believe.
