Hi, I have a baby chameleon named Leath and I cant seem to keep his cage at the proper humidity so I bought some hydroballs..but I cant figure out how to use them. Also, can you use hydroballs with a mesh cage?? I need help!!!!

The hydro balls hold onto water. You can place them on the floor or in a dish, and keep them with water at all times, this should help with humidity.

Hydroballs are usually placed underneath substrate divided by some sort of mesh. They are better off in terraniums, but can be used in screened enclosures. You should use live plants to help with humidity instead tho.

Thank you guys so much for the help! I currently do have a few live plants in there along with a humidifer. But where could I find a mesh lining?

I bought mine from Home Depot, it was sold in a huge roll for about $5. It was located in the outdoor garden section.
