Hello everyone, I’m a new owner of a panther.. I noticed yesterday his poop was orange instead of white.. I spray the cage every morning before work and a few times at night also run a dripper while at work.. what can I do more to make sure he’s getting water?
 
At few times a week you need to spray him long enough that you see him drink and clean his eyes. Get him wet if he moves away wait a couple and then start again he should tolerate it and eventually drink. Use a pump sprayer and expect to be there a while. If you don't have drainage in your cage you will need it for this or do this on a plant in the shower.
You should seriously consider getting a misting system to better hydrate him on a daily basis. Also add live plants to better maintain the cage humidity.

Ok I will get a misting system this weekend I have a few small live plants is there if I see orange again today a shower on a plant is gonna happen and thanks for the feedback
 
While you are shopping think about getting a digital in cage hygrometer to measure the humidity if you don't have one. Low day to day humidity levels can contribute to dehydration. They should only be about 10 bucks.

ive got one I also bought a fogger but I don’t use it cause everything ive read says they aren’t good for a chameleon
 
That's partly true. I use a humidifier from time to time when the humidity in my area is really low. As long as you don't have it on all the time. Having it on for a long time could cause a respiratory infection.
 
The cage does need to dry out a bit during the heat of the day as it would in nature. You are trying to imitate a humid forest not a swamp. Hours of running a humidifier with a basking bulb is too swampy.
I have a mountain species and run the humidifier at night pre dawn to recreate the high humidity that comes with the morning dew. I do my long mistings before the cage heats up and when it's cooling down in the late afternoon with a 2-3 short mistings to provide drinking opportunities during the day.
A panther will need enough misting to keep the cage humidity ranging from 50-70% thru the day. You will have to try and see what works for your setup.

Another alternative is to gutload your feeders with a lot of extra H2O. I know that you can buy just straight water gel and that will make sure whatever you feed to your chameleon is providing it with good hydration. Hornworms have a high water content, and most chameleons think of them as a treat, if you want to try that method, too.

Sweet going to pet shop now to see what they have
 
If there are any insects missing from the stores you look at, most of them will be in abundance online right now since the weather is getting warmer.

Yeah they didn’t have any I’m going to a reptile show Sunday I know there will be some ... I still saw orange in his poop tonight it was white then orange then black... so I sprayed his cage real good saw him maybe lick the vine 3 times I put him in shower on a fake tree and he was scared just curled up on a branch and closed his eyes I will try again this weekend but I have the fogger going a little to keep humidity at 70 I have a screen cage so it’s hard to keep it up

This is my baby 6 months old Diego I’m getting a misting system tomorrow or Saturday depending on when I get off work I want this guy to grow old
 
A lot of people don't recommend that system, but its the one that I use and it has been working great for the past year and a half. Just make sure to use distilled water in it so that you can avoid any nozzle or pump problems from too much mineral buildup.
