Humidity ?

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to keep the humidity up for my Jackson chameleon I have a misting system for him and it go's off every two hours for 12 sec. I also have live plants in the cage.

Reducing the ventilation somewhat can be useful. For instance, if it's a screen cage, wrapping it partially in plastic film (i.e., from a garden center) can be useful as this will help to retain humidity. Ultrasonic humidifiers are extremely useful. Depending on the circumstances, having an ultrasonic humidifier on a timer, or even running continuously in a larger screen cage works very well.

Ok thank you I will try both ideas. I stay in Oklahoma and its pretty dry I have a mist system but it doesn't help that much once it go's off the air sucks it dry again.

Are your plants in plastic pots? If so, switching them to ceramic pots will help with humidity a lot. If that just seems too hard, you can even get some terracotta pots and put them on the floor of the cage without plants in them. They will absorb the water from the mister and dripper and it will slowly evaporate.
