Humidity too low

Hey everyone! Iv noticed ever since I took out the coconut fiber substrate, I'm having a hard time maintaining a good humidity level for my baby girl! Before it stayed at 55% and now it sits at 30%. I have three live plants in there, a dripping system and I mist the enclosure at least 3 times a day for about 2 min each time. After I mist it goes up to 40%. I dont want to put any substrate on the floor:/ Iv seen that it's not good for them because it can cause impaction. Any information would be wonderful!

30% is fine. Recommended is 30-50%

So veiled only need a 30-50% humidity level for daytime...

As far as temps... You have to keep it a bit different if you want to control how many eggs she lays.

You will not want basking to be over 80 for her. Very important for females because as she ages she needs this temp no higher at basking to help control the amount of eggs she produces.
As she matures you will have to start cutting back her food. By about 6 months she should be getting about 5-8 small feeders each day. At about 7 months you want to slowly reduce by cutting down feeders so that she is on a feeding schedule of 3 days a week with 3-4 feeders. You want them to be on this schedule by the time they are 10 months old.

I will have a look at those links tommorow! It's crazy to think she will now need that much food though. Right now I give her 12 crickets and it doesn't seem like it is enough!

I get it but unfortunately she would eat 40 if you offered them... They do not know limits. They will get fat and unhealthy if you let them. But with a female this is particularly dangerous because the more you feed and the hotter the basking temp is the larger the clutch is... It is 60 eggs vs 20ish.... Makes a big impact on their health how many they have to not only produce but lay.

We were told 3 months, but I think she may be a little older
At 3 months you want to continue feeding her as you are, but slowly start cutting back on the number of feeders as she starts nearing 5-6 months. After about 6-7 months you want her eating around 3-4 med sized feeders every other day.

I will definitely cut back on the crickets then. Is 6 good for her age?

What do you think she looks like? I am going 4 months comparing her body to the analog gauge behind her...

While us humans pretty much project our personal feelings about food and such onto our animals and food is love, we do find it hard at times (at least I do) to restrict our ladies diets. However, we can make up for it by offering some tasty variety to what we feed them.

And don’t forget to gutload well.
