Humidity Too High?

So I have my mistking go off at 7am (same time as lights come on) for 5 minutes, 3 minutes at 12pm, and 3 minutes at 4pm. Lights go off at 8pm.

Humidity in the morning is usually 40-50.

When I get home from work at 7pm, humidity is usually 80-85.

Is that too high? If so, how do I reduce the humidity. Ive got a 2x2x4 enclosure, 85 degree basking spot, screen door, screen on 2 sides, and plexiglass on the back (to prevent misting from going through and because I was estimating my humidity would be too low.)

Am I just worrying for no reason?

Well seeing your viv size I am hopinv not as mine is usually round that level, what kind of chameleon do you have ?

As long as the humid air is not stagnant you'll be ok. Make sure you have good air flow around the cage to draw fresh air in.

You will know the humidity is too high when patches of mold start growing on your walls ;)

A small fan can help keep air moving and keep cages dry between mistings. Just dont have it blowing directly on your cham

Running all day? mounted on outside of enclosure?

I keep mine on all the time on low.

Just a fan on the floor or ceiling fan, not on the cage.
Several feet away from the cage. I have mine hanging from the ceiling in the dinning room. I cant feel it in the cham's room, but it does keep the air moving.
