humidity levels for panthers

I just checked my hygrometer and it is reading 45 with the temp at 75. This is a night time reading with lights out. Is this ok? Do you agree with a day time humidity level between 60 and 85?

yes, that is ok. There is not much you can do with the humidity at night unless you want to run a humidifer in the roon but 45 is ok a little low but ok. I live in florida so I am very fortunate with the humidity. Right now my cage is indoors and the temp is 75 and the humidity is 65. Also during the day my ranges are about 60 average and about 85-90 after misting. you should be ok with those temps and humidity.

I agree you should be ok with that. Try if you can to get your hum levels at least during parts of the day to the 50-55% mark. Put a humidifier on a timer. My panther usually is usually around 45-60% but I'm in south Louisiana and humidity is part of our state 'charm.'

Im in florida also , but Im sure on the low end of the humidity range...

where are you in Florida? just curious? I could never get my humidity below 50-55% if I tried!
